Re: 1960 disc brakes
What was the overall cost? I am definitely considering on upgrading my old drums! I'm tired of my spongy brakes and constant down shifter in the old 3 speed

Re: 1960 disc brakes
I'm doing a 4-corner swap to disc as part of my build. VERY much looking forward to seeing how it changes the drive characteristics. I think the thing I hated doing the most on my truck was drum brake changes. Always seems like something went wrong or wasn't calibrated right and it always took revisiting. Swap looks great!

Re: 1960 disc brakes
We just installed 4 wheel disc on my 1961, I am excited about it, It does seem like the turning radius is not going to be very good though, The front kit was from CPP

Re: 1960 disc brakes
I'm going to see about a trade tomorrow, this guy in SF has a 1960 Apache fleetside shortbed, mine is a 91 454ss. If the trade goes thru I might hit you up for advice, I'm in San Jose.
