These fenders are new and bolted up to a original paint cab. Everything lines up really good with our new front sheet metal.

Re: New 1960-66 swb fleetside bed kits!

Here are a few pics of the '65 we are finishing. The cab and front sheet metal were painted by another shop then sent to us to finish the truck with a new bed and final assembly. The front sheet metal on this truck was scuffed and painted with zero bodywork.

Just curious: does your shop build other makes and models, or strictly '60-'66 Chevy trucks?

We build whatever the customer wants. For example right now we have a 1957 Bel Air Convertible factory fuel injection car, 1965 Ford Falcon, 1968 C10, and a 1958 GMC we are building. The trucks seem to be the most popular right now. If I can help you with anything let me know.

Re: New 1960-66 swb fleetside bed kits!

I have a few questions for you if you don't mind? First have you heard anything about 66 long box replacement panels? I've heard about them coming and the short bed sides sure look good! Second what kind of price range for both long and short bed sides? I can't decide if I want to shorten my frame or not. I have the frame striped and I need to get a drive shaft made for the new 700r4 sitting in the rails now anyhow. If there is no word on LB sides it might make my decision a whole lot easier! Lol!

Go with short. The fewer long beds in the world the better!

I just figure that where I'm at right now it might not be that much more work. I also didn't mention that I'm up here in Canada. I always find it interesting to see how much more we end up paying. That and the dollar is killing the price also. It suck!

I was a little confused at first when you said our parts fit good, but after reading you use parts from overseas that fit well correct?

Re: New 1960-66 swb fleetside bed kits!

The new bedsides look "GREAT" !!!!!!! it would have been nice if they could/would have been slightly modified so that the rear tires would have had the appearance of being more centered in the wheel well ???? ---- with that being said ,,, is there any simple way to move the rear-end back a couple of inches or so in order to squeeze more tire under it without it rubbing on the front edge ??? once again they do look NICE

Better save the doors on that truck, they just tore down the No. Loup Lumber Yard last year, to put up a new retail seed building. Spent a lot of my youth in No Loup, had better looking girls there than in Ord.

Pappy 2
I'm going to leave the cab/doors alone on the '62 and spray the new panels to match the patina.
