Re: New Project = New problems 1964 K-10 Ebrake
So I took some pics today and they came out awful. My phone takes better pics but I can't figure out how to resize them. Next best thing is a sketch. Here's what I got before it started raining today. I can get more detail when it stops in a day or so.

Nice drawing, this will help alot. Its what i was planning on doing but yours is way better lol! I have a friend that can probably help me fab these up in the next week or two. Mine were cell pics too somehow just automatically resized them when i posted them maby cause its a different phone i guess. If you manage to get a picture of your setup on her that would be greatly appreciated but if not, no worries this helps getting me going in the right direction thanks!

Re: New Project = New problems 1964 K-10 Ebrake
Finally got around to building the E brake brackets on the weekend. Turned out pretty good and it works now. The only issue I ran into is that the rear brake cables could be about an inch longer I managed to hook them up but I had to use the hole I drilled for a return spring on the lever not the center hole so its a little off and pulls more on the right cable.

Re: New Project = New problems 1964 K-10 Ebrake
Not the greatest pic.. Its possible that this x-member is narrower. I ordered The cables from Inline tube and they had 2 choices for the 64 4x4 one was 56" and one was 57 7/8". I went with the 56" one because that's how long the old ones were Should of went with the longer ones I guess. I will probably just make a longer bar that goes from the cables to the lever.

This is exactly what I have done to accommodate the previous Dana 60 and now the 14 bolt with the discs. It has worked pretty well. I think that my bar has close to a dozen holes from the different adjustments over the years.
