She is beautiful. I ordered a McGaughys 4.5/6 drop for mine yesterday and the sport bumper last week. What size tires did you go with?

Ah, did a little re-reading and see it's a 4.5/6 drop. Does that not require a notch?

It ended up a little closer to 5" in the front and 6" in the back. No notch needed in the back, I have a good 3.5" clearance to the frame. Maybe if someone was hauling a bunch stuff often but I don't build them for that purpose. I've run this setup on 12+ trucks and have never had any problems.

Yes sir on a 5/6 drop. I use a 245/45 & 275/45 if I'm only going 4/5 drop.

Dash pad arrived Friday as expected but I only had a few minutes to even look at it. The pad felt real solid out of the box, no wet noodle feeling like the urethane pads. Saturday morning I removed the old pad, cleaned, and waxed the dash. The install of the trim and a/c parts on the pad went super easy, no problem with the studs and speed nuts like I've had in the past. Next was the install of the new pad, and it literally fell into place. No trimming, no in and out, no fighting, it actually fit the dash very well. The fit around the window, and VIN area was very good, the area around the speakers and bezel was OK, but I new that from the beginning.

I would give the Cheyenne pickup parts dash pad a solid B+ and while they're not as good as OEM, for $400 shipped to door, I'm real pleased. After a little more detailing inside the cab, I'm calling the phase complete.

I finished the day up with some tail light work. I was hoping under the 80's covers I would find a pair of pristine lens, but not so much. So I installed a new set to finish off the rear of the truck.

Yes I'm very happy with fit, finish, and color of the dash pad. I still think the urethane dash pads are the way to go for a daily driver or a truck exposed to sun all the time. The solid urethane dash pad wont crack like a vinyl pad will.

Sunday morning project, removing the vent shades from the doors. I've been avoiding this since day one because I've seen the damage these things can do to the paint removing them. So with lots of heat, gentle pulling, they came off without much of a problem. The glue left behind is a pain to deal with also, but after several adhesive removers all that was left was my sore thumbs. And finally a little high speed buff the doors look good a new.

Fishing line works pretty good for removing emblems and trim held on with adhesive tapes without damaging paint.

I order them at my local Napa auto parts. I've tried the lens from LMC and the quality is the same.
