Re: blasted parts - 72 rear sport bumper brackets

Richard,

Do you still have these 72 rear sport bumper brackets?
The last post is from November 2018, but the thread does not show that you sold them.

If so, I will take them for the $45 as long as the shipping is reasonable.
Please let me know either way.
Thanks!

Terry
This is the best set that has already been bead blasted, etch primed and painted satin urethane black. They have some shallow pitting but nothing major.

Re: blasted parts

Richard,

The pitting is heavier than I would like.
Would you please take a look at the other set(s) for me.

I don't need them blasted or painted.
Have a great source here. High quality and inexpensive.

Let me know if you think another set is better and then please include some pics.

Re: blasted parts

Richard,
Thanks for pulling these and talking the pics.
Not surprised that this set and the others will have pits.

Even though this set will have pits, from your judgement do you think that this set will be significantly better on the pitting than the other one you first posted?
Light pitting versus the heavier pitting on the one side on the set that is already blasted and primed?
These are not prime appearance parts. So if you say that this last set is going to be better, but it turns out that is not the case when I have them blasted, I would not be upset with you.
No matter what, I am going to buy one of these two sets.

Re: blasted parts

Terry
Rather than be surprised later I dropped them in the cabinet and hit what I thought to be the potential problem areas. Then took rattle can black and sprayed it so I could get a better pic. I feel this set would be plenty presentable once fully blasted. I would almost say a couple coats of epoxy primer would make these pits disappear. Totally up to you at this point. I understand if neither set will work for your build.

Re: blasted parts

Richard,
Got the rear bumper supports.
They look great to me!
Think they will clean up nice when blasted.
Thank you for your extra effort.
In my opinion you are one of the top sellers on the Forum because of your extra effort and support of the other Forum members.
