Yeah but how do you make sure them predators are always around? Invest in a hawkery, a cattery, a lizardry, a snakery and an antery? lol I actually don't have a problem keeping the ants around. Fireants are a real problem in my yard.

Buggers moved all the seat cushion from a whole bench seat into the cab corners.

Not sure which one I should send the bill to.

Hey Harpo, where can I get that tape?
I have a '92 Subaru and packrats have been at the wiring. Packrats also like to eat cactus and leave the spines around the nest to protect it from predators. Once they ate thru the Cam Angle Sensor wires under the air plenum and that car wouldn't start. I tried a soldered slice job. No go. Called the Subaru dealer: $300 for the harness, O'Reilley's, $242. Went to a Pick-A-Part, $5, and it worked. Bastards also ate thru my RH front turn signal lines. I patched it up after jacking up the front end, pulling the RF wheel, pulling off the plastic fender skirt and getting to the lamp harness. Two months later they ate thru the new harness. ''Hey look Minnie, fresh licorice." Haven't got around to fixing it yet, but I have been collecting 1/2" flex conduit.
Here a lot of people leave the hoods of their vehicles up. The packrats don't feel as secure if cats can get to them.

Problem here in the Southwest is the packrats would probably taste it and say: ,,i Sabrosa. Los cables con suave sabor!''

I've seen a lot ot these cabs just like this one unfortunately. I heard one run up the a pillar one time and run across the front and came out from under the seat and jumped at me. Little sob.

They sure are destructive. Like already mentioned, their urine is very corrosive. Add some moisture to it and it's a bad deal.

I drive my 68 12 months a year so I don't have the mice problem with it. When I put my 38 up for the winter I spread Bounce sheets all around the car including the trunk and even a few in the engine compartment. I haven't seen a mouse or even their dropping as of yet and that's going on 13 years now. Probably because I commented on this subject I'll be over run with the cheese eaters. Our border patrol is working because it appears that they aren't getting through. Have a good one eh!
