apache hoods came with the brace down the center
it still flexes quite a bit anytime you get much over 80 mph

Finally was able to install my fix for the hood oil canning. Appreciate everybody's help and ideas. Here's the final solution. Fits right up against the hood, used some dabs of silicon along the way to provide some vibration dampening.

Right on, hopefully what you dabbed between them stays flexable. From the factory they use a soft foam because if what you put "glues" the two together you will end up with a "ghost line" on the top that you will be able to see.

Thanks. It fit really well. Yes the silicon is a soft when cured. Didn't use that much, just enough to eliminate any vibration.
