wow didnt know this thread was still "alive"...
still got the truck and still doing very nicely.. the new carb and other parts got it back on the road... as a matter of fact took it on the longest trip that its been on since i've had it, about 150 mile round trip yesterday to buy the wife a 99 GMC Jimmy 4x4... took back roads up there for safety then ran it about 80 mph all the way home for about 70 miles straight... just seems to "float" out there at that speed but still power to spare when i have to speed up to 90 to pass some slow asses
