Rusty and no title. A few parts I want for my white one, and the springs and axles I want for a blazer frame I have.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Cool looking GMC for big money. It would be nice if the interior blended better with the exterior and if the front wheels were powered.

This one is right down the street from my house. I found it when I bought my truck, kinda wanted it more, since it seemed to have less dents (and I like grey a lot more than blue). It wasn't available when I saw it: it had been recently bought, gonna get work done, so I don't know what type of condition it is in, since it's been sitting there since at least June 2017.

"Good running Suburban. It's the desirable 2500 Series. Factory 402 V-8, AT, Power, Air, Tilt, Cruise, Electric Brake. New Battery and New Gas Tank. Trade up or down for a British motorcycle. running or not. Short layaway available"

All I can say is wow. There is a lot I like on this one (and some I am not a fan of) but the work that went into it.

Wow..

Following as I'm keeping my eye out for a cheap panel or burb body to drop on my 99 Suburban frame. No title needed! Body does need to be mostly rust free.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

I found this Burb from Greenville, SC while I was surfing Craigslist: I chuckled a bit when I saw the title and the first pic...

1968 chevrolet suburban GREAT BODY MINIMAL RUST - $2500 (Travelers rest)

I have a 1968 suburban with a v8 and 3 speed on the column. I'm told it was running 2 years ago. It had been inside at a body shop in Alabama for 12-14 years when the owner lost interest...

THE BODY IS HANDS DOWN WAY ABOVE AVERAGE. VERY LITTLE RUST.
PERFECT BURB FOR LS SWAP..
I HAVE ALL THE DOORS ETC. AND THEY ARE SUPER NICE..

I'd also be very surprised if this one was running 2 years ago, and this thing was not sitting inside anything, it was def out in the open under several trees.

Went to look at that truck.... Originally a 350 truck; Pass side A pillar is rotted away inside and out. floors are actually repairable, and roof near the top rear windows are rusted thru on both sides. late model seat in front row; hood completely rotted away, seller has a 67-68 hood for it. front grill surround is trashed. I passed on it.... The A pillar rot and NOM BBC was the final straw for me.

Not a bad truck; looked at it as well as a rotted '72 4x4 the lot had. Not sure how much hidden rust is on that truck.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

70 Burban with barn doors $6000. Lots of commentary but no mention of the "Demon Rust"! Could be a nice rig for a good price if straight means no rust. Interesting addition to the classic white spokers. Plus a roof rack!

https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/...519837695.html

I HAVE A 1970 SUBURBAN AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES , VERY STRAIGHT, CHEVROLET ORANGE AND WHITE. HAS A 350 V-8 ENGINE AND A 400 TURBO TRANSMISSION. THIS TRUCK COULD TAKE YOU TO FLORIDA IF YOU WANT. SHE RUNS VERY WELL HAS JUST HAD 2000.00 WORTH OF BRAKE WORK DONE EVERYTHING REPLACED, HAS NEW HOSES AND BELTS, NEW ALTERNATOR, HAS HAD THE FAN MOTOR AND HEATER CORE REPLACED WHEN WE PUT THE NEW MANIFOLD AND EDELBROCK 650 CARBURATOR ON IT. DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD STRAIGHT. THIS RIG WAS OWNED BY AN ELDERLY GENTELMAN NEAR TIGARD OREGON FOR YEARS. IT HAS BEEN VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE SOMEONE TOOK A BAG OF NICKELS TO IT ... THE SIDES ARE VERY STRAIGHT. IT IS A THREE DOOR AND HAS THE HOSPITAL DOORS IN THE BACK ... IT IS NOT A HATCHBACK.
THE PRICE IS $6,000.00 OR BEST OFFER CLOSE TO THAT. NO LOW BALLERS NEED TO CALL. IF INTERESTED PLEASE CALL show contact info ... my name is Larry.... please call no texts... I WILL ANWSER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE THEN AND WILL ARRANGE A TIME TO MEET WITH YOU FOR YOU TO COME PURCHASE .
PLEASE... SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY.
THIS IS A VERY LOW PRICE FOR THIS RIG AS WE WERE ASKING 8,500 FOR IT BUT NOW NEED TO SELL FOR ANOTHER PROJECT . FIRST COME FIRST SERVED DON'T MISS OUT AS THIS IS A NICE STRAIGHT GOOD RUNNING VEHICLE. THANKS FOR LOOKING.

Check out the tail lights, or lack of. Wonder what it used to look like? Also wonder why the rear quarters look so different...

Re: Suburban and panel finds

I'm sure this one first appeared last May. (Post 259) No pictures were posted but those quarters are hard to forget. I don't remember it being shiny at that time. Someone else may be able to chime in. I would find it hard to pay $8500 for it with the rear end looking the way it does. But as the say location location location.
