Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
I'm just doing the basic sanding it down and throwing primer on it, I'd have to do some research to do wet sanding and all that.

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
how are you sanding? with a sanding block or just with your hand? I assume you are sanding old paint to get ready to prime it? let's see pics

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
Thanks man I appreciate it!
Believe it or not I'm only using 100 grit, it's taking longer to get through the paint but it's coming over baby bottom smooth! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
Hey, glad to see you got some work done on it. What are your plans after it is all in primer? Are you going to turn around and paint it or just leave it in primer for awhile. Good progress. Keep it up!

I'm probably going to keep it primer for a while but I'm thinking of maybe going out and getting a black primer to throw over it just to give it another coat of primer. I haven't fully decided yet though. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
I am not exactly 100% sure on this but I thought I was told that primer will take on moisture if left on by itself. You might want to look into putting on a sealer over it until you paint it. Then all you have to do is scuff and shoot I believe. Just food for thought. That is if you didn't already know that.
My computer has not been giving me any update status on some threads so I am trying to catch up.
