Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
I dug these pictures up from way back in my Photobucket. This truck was parked, unattended, just off I-70. Never thought about it till now, but this is the exit just beyond the weigh station. I wonder if they pulled him and escorted him there because it wouldn't make the turn back to the lot. Anyway, here are some pictures:

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
The rears are packin' up. Better get out the fake chains!
I absolutely love that beast. I worked a while contracting reforestration for Simpson Lumber near the Klamath. I loved seeing those off road trucks. Modern day draft horses. My grandpa was a mountain logging drover. Now there's a real man!

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
That snow sure looks real.
Nice looking logs by the way. The truck kind of reminds me of the "Duel" truck.

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
I'd say that is quite a bit older than the duel truck.
Cool looking low mount peterbilt

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
I think they use the trailer with their newer rigs as they are still logging.
