Cool deal, thanks!

We hung the driver side door...new seal and sill plate. It takes a light slam to close, but it'll relax a bit...nice and solid with a couple Dynamat pads on the inside.

We bought a majority of the gaskets/seals a number of years ago from
carandtruckshop.com...the door seals came from them. They seem to fit well.

My son has finished building out the 24 circuit relay/fuse panel...all switches and accessories will run through this panel inside the center console.

My son got all the main circuits finished...MSD and Dakota digital on the driver's side of center console. We tested everything and buttoned up the sides.

Thanks Phillip

The show went well, my son got 1st runner up. Which means no "golden ticket" to SEMA, but he will have another chance for a ticket.

The first and second runner ups from the 9 regional shows will be entered in an online fan vote for a tenth ticket to SEMA.

Re: Our "What are we going to do?" 66 Suburban Build

WOW! Just read thru the entire build! Its crazy I've never seen you guys around in this beauty. I have a 66 GMC Burb that I'm still in the early stages of building. I have a custom upholstery shop in Moore so most of my attention is inside! HAHA! Cant wait to run into you guys and see that Fantastic beast in person. Keep knocking it out of the park guys!!

p.s. - man I wish I could have gotten those seats from you. I need a 60% 2nd row!

Re: Our "What are we going to do?" 66 Suburban Build

Thanks GB, it'll be nice to have another burb running around here.

We pulled the tranny out and sent it to BTE to be gone through. We think that the TC was too loose...made a lot of heat! Nothing let go, but the fluid got really hot...better to be safe than sorry.

So...about that heat! The engine flat out gets HOT...rad is too small and the current fans are insufficient. I've been talking to CBR about some custom made options and we will be hogging out the rad support to see just how much rad we can stuff in there! We'll also be going with one of their fan cooled tranny coolers...as big as we can fit.

The rear coil springs from CPP on their HD coilover kit were way to soft at 350lb...brought in some Eibach 450lb coils...they're better, but we don't have any run time on them yet.

This big engine shat is getting to be a PITA...
