Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
I'm seeing rust in places I don't like on that one in Ashland. 5K would be a seriously generous offer on just the truck. That's if it doesn't have rusted out floors and Kick panels.
Ashland Oregon means that we will get it up on blocks or stands and go over it with an extra fine tooth comb. That rust on the line between the top and the body spooks me though.

I could use the fenders off the spare bed/trailer in Ashland- but he probably wants $7500 for it…

Due to its proximity from the Calif border someone from there might buy it but not at asking. I understand demand is way up for "semi" originals in that god forsaken state.

The yellow 5 window looks pretty solid. I'd rather deal with dents than rust any day.

This first series 55 6400 looks like a truck a friend of mine used to have That I borrowed about 35 years ago. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...3A108%7D%22%7D

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
I've got enough parts kicking around here minus one rear fender to make a pretty complete truck out of that spare cab and frame with the yellow truck.

That's what I was thinking, we're a just one parts hoard away from two trucks here, for $3,500 OBO. I have no AD experience but I think this is a decent deal.

There is a 55 second series Chevy 6500 with a long flatbed being run though the auto Auction in Pasco Wa that might be of interest to someone in the PNW. Their fees run the purchase price up a bit but they are a straight arrow outfit to deal with. https://www.trucksandauto.com/auctio...hevrolet--6500

Love that triple deuce intake! I'm always suspicious of trucks with factory suspension that sit low...there's only a couple decent ways to do that, and they're expensive.

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
That blue 4 x is at a dealer who probably has it on consignment. The problem is that the photos they have don't show me 55 K. No engine photos, no chassis while up on a hoist photos, Not one freaking interior photo. You want a 55 K starting point, show me why it is a 55 K truck. Show the details that make it special.
I posted more an better detailed photos to sell the rust bucket 31 Model A Victoria that I sold for 1700 plus 200 to deliver it to Portland last year. Then I even took another 20 photos for the guy who bought it at his request.

Love this blue patina, Original paint trucks are getting tougher to locate. I know a forum member who has a long bed frame, fully custom from No Limit, just sitting around on rotting tires for 10 years now and needs to just buy this and put the body on! You know who you are!

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
That's about the nicest AD I have seen for 18K lately but I just don't get why a guy wouldn't fix the starter and have it ready to go.

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!
I full and well understand the sick and tired of fooling with them but having the starter rebuilt or even ordering one from a specialty house is under 200 and that alone saves getting lowballed several thousand on the price.
A 235 Hydromatic starter isn't one you can run into O'Reilly's and snag and slap it in. Yes I checked O"Reillys and Napa.
