OK, let's do a show!
Call Jerry Springer, I think there is a show to produce! Whats with all the name calling?? The second post the dork is calling people names due to his unbelievable first posting. No one called you a crook but 40 trucks even?
Who would part out that many without restoring any? If you had included a bit more info, maybe more people would have faith in your post. If I wanted to rip people off it's a perfect way to list a slew of trucks to part out to get everyone all hot for the parts they are missing. If you take everyone's money before any sales completed then they all find out too late if you do not send parts. If you sold to a couple of members and did not follow through everyone would be alerted and you would be banned. I would bet that everyone you insulted was just joking around. Welcome and good luck!

Post Pictures
I think the only way to remove doubt on the legitimacy of this offering is to post pictures of the rows of trucks. Then everyone kinows they exist and can see the basic condition of them.
When Teeitup (Randy) offered all of those trucks he bought, he started out with lots of great pics. That really cleared things up...and he immediately sold a ton of parts. He was pretty busy for a while. Let's see these trucks. |

I just got a new digital camera thanks to tnblazerk5 for the idea I got it cheap. I would also like to thank everyone for the ideas on how to do this I am new and I am going to be getting pictures and taking a inventory. For those wondering about me restoring some of these I have pulled some out for my personal use. My favorite being the GMC from 1970 long story but I owe my life to one of those God Rest That Trucks Soul. Most of these have some parts taken off already 20 of these things only have 5 salvagable parts per truck because they were close to the front and a big bunch are still blocked in by trees. I will have pictures for the people wanting parts and I will be getting a inventory for the remaining parts. Now I have one request I had no clue I would be starting such a noise. I apologize for just jumping into this. My next posts will be thought thru more. But please use this post to ask me for parts I have so much to read thru if you want to say you don't belive me or I am a dork that is fine just send it to me private so I can get thru this list better yet I will start a new post under general discussion regarding dorkydork and why he is such a dork vent your anger there and I promise I will read it. Sorry for the trouble I have caused and I will be trying to get back to everyones parts request as soon as possible.

Welcome to the board from Louisiana. You've found a great place for info, or just to sell parts. Most of the people here are very helpfull, and we look out for our own here. I think most of the negative replies were just guys having a little fun, because it sounded so hard to believe, and without any quick response, most of us doubted it was true. I was skeptical myself, which is why I haven't responded before now. We've seen fake posts similar to this before. Like PICKMUP said, pics will help ALOT. You will find that most everybody wants to see pics of something that is for sale, and they will bring you alot more response. I would be interested in a set of factory shoulder seatbelts if you have any. A word of advice about selling parts here though, keep people informed, and don't be a slow shipper. If you burn someone, you won't be selling parts here for very long! (texparts67-72 comes to mind) Good luck, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

This thread is pretty funny for two reasons...
1. If Patrick does have 40 trucks and does post a pic showing the 40 trucks...look at all the people who will have to eat crow. 2. I have never seen so much imaturity in all my time on this board. I quit calling people names back in junior high, and I never once thought I knew everything. Seeing how some of you have carried on has sure opened my eyes.

I spoke with Patrick today. He has been swamped with requests. Was also a little overwhelmed by the board. Some good and some bad. Seems to be a very good guy. Had to laugh with him. He really opened a can of worms here. That can happen to well intentioned newcomers.
Patrick, my suggestion is to print this thread and then delete it. It has gotten out of hand and you are going to be busy for some time anyway. Go through the people on the thread, get your stuff together (inventory and pics) and then come back when you are better prepared. Would help you to group items and check pricing before a war starts. Again, welcome to the board and good luck.
