Re: Just found out my 350 is a 305 :( What would you do?
It might not be a mountain climber and it might not be a stroker motor--I know I happen to have a stroker motored truck and a GM replacement motored truck (Son's) in my garage, but the cam swap and the replacement motor is hard to beat on a rainy day. My son's truck with his rear gears and tranny puts on a real good 1 city block show. There are few that have fell to the red beast. OBTW---the combinations that were tested in different articles in the magazines are easy to create. Iron heads are not bad, they just limit Compression Ratio with today's gas.
Once you get past the "I got skewered by the seller" and decide on what you want to do--GET IT DONE. All of us are full of advice but are not the ones that are dealing with this issue. Last edited by piecesparts; 02-17-2006 at 10:06 AM. |

No trolls here bud. You asked what people thought and I told you. If you don't like the answer, I can't help it. And yes, if you are naive enough to think everyone is honest then this is not the last time crap like this will happen to you.
