Re: WTB magazine ad
That ad must have came out right before the model changed. I cant believe how scarce it is.
I must have seen 6 Ochre Camper Special ad's You could always paint your truck Ochre and put a camper on it.

Re: WTB magazine ad
I had my pet lizard helping me look for this ad as well. He went out and said he would be right back. Well, I hadn't seen him for two weeks and thought all was lost. Then we found him.
Apparently he was close to the source of this ad and was killed. It must have been slow and painful as his legs are missing. |

I have a box of late 60's early 70's outdoor mags, I'll pull it out tonight and search through them.

Re: WTB magazine ad
Sorry, no ads like the one you were looking for. Although I did find a lot in the square body style 73-79 trucks, blazers and burbs.

Re: WTB magazine ad
I dont know if anyone mentioned it yet, but Jim Carter Classic Truck Parts uses old ads in their catalogues. The ph number for them is 800 841 1913. Maybe they can get a line on it for you.

Re: WTB magazine ad
I spent about an hour looking through a stack of magazines looking for the ad but no luck.
Maybe it would be easier to find another ad that you like and then repaint the truck to match. But seriously TTT.

Re: WTB magazine ad
I'm beginning to think the ad was created by a Graphic Design student for a college project. When I was in the program(Graphic Arts) at Long Beach State, I used a pic of my Dad's '73 Bronco for an assigned project, made to look like a vintage ad. I have been looking high and low for this ad with no success. I hope it's real and you or somebody finds a copy soon! I'll keep searching.

Re: WTB magazine ad
I got directions to this shop that supposedly had a copy of the ad. I got there and went inside but all the proprietor did was stand there staring in to space.
