Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
Joe, you are right... but this has pretty much turned into a big BS'in thread. looks like anyone trying to get in line or buy it out from under me has been PM'in CG instead of posting. (NFC if anyone is trying to buy it out from under, but they are sending him PMs on it)
Wes... highly considering swinging by there like I told you last week. If I have money to spend... it won't be tach/vac kinda money... I was mostly screwin with him on that. Rick... I think it's a good deal too, and I can't believe the amount of ppl rooting for me on this. paul... I can't spell that once I have a few drinks in me... I'll stick with longhorn man for now. Is it open yet? 67CRN, I'm looking at options, but I want to do it before mid Oct. 72army... I may have to stop by there, depends on what route I take. ` |

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
No ones trying to buy it out from you...There have been inquiries to the effect, if something happens on your end they want to be in line. Bunch of good guys on this board.
When I posted this for some reason I was thinking the trucks for sale section was closed recently. I had read a thread answered by Josh. I guess I just read wrong. My apologies to the powers that be. Last edited by CG; 08-29-2007 at 09:49 PM. |

If I have a lot of parts for a truck and they happen to be all assembled its ok to post here? Just funnin with you all!!! Again... Longhorn Man. Like I said when you get back to the chosen land of 67-72 Chevy's/GMC I may want to pay you a visit to examine your new family member. How about LongBurbMan for a new name?

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
I live in Monroe near CG and will be getting a peek at this thing this weekend. If I like it he said I could buy it for 1$.
<kidding> Seriously though, we should have a little get-together for Longhorn Man in the Seattle area! And my shop is open if you need to do a little deep inspection/maintenance work before hitting the road back. What's the date for the arrival? |

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
This is a great thread. I bought my burb in CA and the wife and I drove it back without a problem. My sub is the same colour as your new toy. Andy when r u coming out? date set? It would be great to have a meet in Monroe with a lot of other memmbers since most of the meets are so far away for us in the north west
I have a 2nd and 3rd row seats I was trying to sell, comes with excellent "cream seat belts" plus 3/4 chevy hupcaps, 4 rims and original nylon (this is incase you're trying for more points at the next show LOL) tires see my post for pics. someone offered me $100 for the 3rd row and belts. I know this this trip is costing you $$, you can have them, good karma, one day it will be my turn. I'm heading down Sat. to get my buddy buckets from CG, I can drop them off. Let me know what you might want. Al. |

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
Wow, Al... I'll take any of those items you just listed... what ever you want to 'donate'.
I'l say this, what ever I don't use, I will hand off to someone else, not for hoarding, not for profit. Date isn't set, assuming the inspections go good, I plan on lade sept, early oct. Mid oct at the latest. it's all up in the air at the moment. |

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
Hey if your flying you might want to price out round trip tickets verses one way. It should be a lot cheaper. Not sure if that's ok to do that but people have done that before. You would think one way would be cheaper...that's not always the case but maybe the air lines pricing has xhanged. Just my .000000000000000000000002 cents worth. Good Luck.

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
I can get there for about 100 bucks one way, skybus.com tickets are stupid cheap, if you plan early enough, you can fly from here to LA for 10 bucks.
