wow - that must have been cool. you've probably got some stories. I'll be 51 this year - born in '57, a good year to be born for a chevy guy. Got my first, a '55 1st series, back in '73. That truck was only 18 years old then, but it was thrashed. I sure had fun with it as a teenager.

46 My first truck was a 60 Chevy short step. I have always had a Chevy truck. The now is a 1965 s/fleet 454/400 auto.

I'm 16, but I'll be 17 on Thursday. I got my '64 LWB when I was 14, then my '69 C-20 when I was 15. The '64 got put on the backburner because the '69 needed less work to get it on the road. Now I drive the '69 every day and am working on the '64 again. The '64 will be my low-budget weekend cruiser, while the '69 is my daily driver.

However, we consider these trucks kinda of like we both own and drive either of them. No big deal.

New here, I'm 40 and have owned the same 1965 Chevy short stepside since I turned 16. Been into this body truck since I can't remember. My 65 was my grand father's. He bought it used in March 1967, just 7 months before I was born. Started hounding him when I was about 13 and finally he bought a band new 1984 Chevy pick up in October 1983 and gave me the 65 for my 16th birthday. I still have the truck but he passed on about 12 years ago. I just can't get rid of it now, means to much to me.

I'm 36, and what's this I hear about Led Zepplin, YES, Pink Floyd, ELO being "blue hair music"! Gimme a break. In fact I've heard songs from today that are blatant rip-offs of some of these classic artists, and the kids today don't seem to know.

I've had my 77 since I was 25, but the 64 is the new project in the coral.
