Hey Capt. Kaos a clarification please. I see where the Dakota Digital cluster has the two screw holes used to mount the factory gear selector. Can the factory gear selector be used? I realize that the clear plastic cover from the old gages would have to be modified to fit in behind the bezel to cover the gear selector. Also do the turn signals still reside in their original locations?

Yes, technically you could use the factory selector, but the plastic "shield" would be missing.
Turn signals are located in the digital unit

if your truck is diesel you can use these same gauges, it even has a" WAIT" light for diesels.
