Sorry pushrod, been real busy latily and it will be a little while befor i can get back to it ,but i will !and i'll post some more pics .
Heres a pic of an s-10 i chopped a few years ago ,and i just traded back for ity last week !11'' chop!!I need some thing a little cheep on gas but nobody said i couldnt chop it!

I have been thinking of chopping one. But a guy told me that he took out about 6 inches and then laid the windshield posts back . This way he did not need to section the roof. Anyone ever do this? Any comments?

It can be done either way. A lot depends upon the vehicle and exactly how much you intend to remove from it. The more you take out of the height the harder it is to "bend" things to line up.
