thanx again wabbit. i have no pics of it with the bed off, but there are plenty others with the same setup. ill find some and post them up tonight. its not custom. you can buy these kits pre-fabbed from ekstensive metalworks. (ekstensive.com). it does require some welding for the step notch, but you will see in the pics. ill find some.

This is a serious question and please do not take it as an insult...

Why do people bag their trucks to the point where the truck no longer sits level? What I'm talking about is a truck that is so slammed that the front end sticks up a tad because there is more travel in the back. To me, the correct way is to lower it to the point where the truck is perfectly level but as low as possible. I see just as many lowered perfectly level as I do with the front end pointing up a bit, so I guess this is an intentional thing.

Is it something to do with laying frame? I ask because all of the trucks here are very nice and the few that sag more in the back are nice too and seem as if this was intentional. Please clue me in to the trend...!

You've already figured it out. It's a trend thing. I personally can't stand seeing a dropped truck running around town w/the front higher than the rear.

That front up back down thing I feel should stay with the lowrider Impala's, Monte Carlo's, and such. There's a guy running around town here with a nice bagged stepper. He always has the front up and the back dropped the last time I saw his truck the whole back bumper looks like it's mounted at a 45 degree angle. It's all twisted up and looks like crap. I guess he's learning the hard way that the ground is unforgiving.

the only reason those guys do that is so if they have to make a quick turn, the tires wont get into the fenders, and to let people know their truck is bagged. me pesonally, i ride as low as i can in the front, as you can see in my avatar, and if i have to lift the front up, i lift the back also. yes i think it looks goofy when someone rides like that, but its w/e.

The front crossmember on these trucks do not allow for them to lay the frame evenly. With a step notch in the rear the backs will get very low.
However without modifying the front crossmember height the front will hit the ground first.
As for the ass dragging thing while driving, a lot of these guys with big wheels in front cannot turn at a low ride height. But they love to let you know they can lay frame. So they just let the ass drag.

Then that starts the TREND ........Hey Billy Big Baller is running twenty fo's on his body dropped Nissan! He's da S##T!

Have you ever seen the guy with the rally big wheels at the show all slammed on the ground.....looks bad to the bone!
Then he has to air it up so high that it's now higher that stock and 200+psi in the front bags.

I'm not ragging on the big wheel, body drop guys, I love that look. You just gotta admit it is hard to turn with them things and look good.

Man, I like the way your truck sits! that Dropmember really does wonders for these trucks. How do you like those 1 piece windows, did you have problems with them? nice job, classic looks with a modern twist. Can't wait to see it compleated.

Thanks, yes my truck was influenced by, and worked on quite a bit by by my good friend Jason Hill, and his crew. Although, I also did alot of work on it myself. I'm glad you like it N2TRUX, as I am a big fan of your truck too.
