I was thinking when I saw your picture that if you and Mr.Tony would get together you guys would have one heck of a used truck lot.

And I agree with you 100% about Tony on this forum,

Re: Where are the stockers?

Heres my bucket of bolts. Not pretty, but I do plan on going back to stock with the original hub caps and paint color. However there will be some suspension/tire size and possibly engine modifcations.

That was mine. I sold it back in '05 when we built our new house. I hated to see it go, but I have another one in the oven (66 short, fleet - loaded!). I even pulled the NOS aluminum grill out of the black truck and put in a chrome one right before I sold it!!

Re: Where are the stockers?

Mines got a fairly stock look to it as it is.
Black paint, Wide whites, and a bit of a drop in the rear end is all I'm looking to do to her.

Re: Where are the stockers?

Great looking trucks! Click on photo to enlarge. I have to take more photo's.I got the buildsheet and bill of sale from dealer for this truck. Note the "west coast" mirrors and faux white walls. 3 on the tree in-line 6. I am thinking of adding power steering because after three shouder operations she's getting hard to steer. Any opinions as to the affect on value? I need some hubcaps, and a passenger side windshield wiper.

Re: Where are the stockers?

Here's a slice of a 1/25 scale model of a '64 fleetside. I mounted this on a plaque and gave it as a trophy in one of my truck meets. (same model kit as the Ned's plumbing truck above.)

Here's my real truck:

This is the new power plant that is in the process of being hooked up.

Re: Where are the stockers?

Yup! Although I'm not so sure it's off of a Mopar. Turns out Chevy was using Carter AFB's in the late sixties - and the thermoquad was on it when I bought it - bolted right to a stock 327 4bbl intake manifold with out an adapter.

Re: Where are the stockers?

I just transplanted this mildly built '66 327 with Edelbrock RPM Performer Cam/Intake/Carb combination, double-hump heads and HEI. It has 2-1/2" aluminized exhaust and Series 40 Flow Masters out the back. It is mated to a Turbo 400 with a Lokar Classic Truck automatic floor shifter.
