Sorry for giving out wrong info.
They should spell that out on their website. I apologize.

Re: you want to change your 5X5 bolt pattern on 73-87 disc to 5X4.75
I search POL and CPP's website.
It appears the 5x4.75" rotor are for the 11" 69-74 chevelle rotors (thanks crazy longhorn) that use a custom bracket that attaches to a 63-70 "drum brake" front spindle. These require a 69-72 Camaro caliper. CPP's complete kit, (part# 6370WBK-5) is $375.00. Or just the bracket kit for $119.00. Part#6370DBK Again sorry for the confusion I caused.

Considering all the great info you provide on here, I think we can let this one slide...

Re: you want to change your 5X5 bolt pattern on 73-87 disc to 5X4.75
Hola gents!
I've read over this thread a few times before joining this forum and am still somewhat confused on this topic. I have a 1984 1/2 ton Silverado. Will the 91 Camaro 1LE performance rotors fit my set up? It's currently a 5x5 and I am really trying to get it to a 5x4.75. Thanks. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: you want to change your 5X5 bolt pattern on 73-87 disc to 5X4.75
Also wanted to know if I could use these drop spindles with the 91 Camaro rotors.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/400140456280...84.m1423.l2649 The end result I am looking for is to safely get my 84 Silverado to a 4.5 inch pattern with about a 2" drop and that I can use with a 15" wheel. HELP! Posted via Mobile Device |

Yes, those spindles, designed for 1" thick rotors, will allow installation of the 5x4.75 camaro 1LE rotors. Post some pics here when you get them on!

Thanks for the response gringoloco. I really appreciate it and I will definately repost before and after pics. Gonna rebuild the entire front end while I'm replacing the spindles and installing the new rotors!

I dont think those brakes will work with 15" wheels. Talk to way2low2 for advice on what will work.

All of that to say this: He should only have the same possibility of lower control arm clearance issues that all lowered 63-87 trucks have when using drop spindles with 15" wheels, depending on wheel backspacing.

Re: you want to change your 5X5 bolt pattern on 73-87 disc to 5X4.75
Its been a while since I played with Camaro stuff, but I remember when there was a big interest in converting to 1LE brakes. Now that I think about it there was one guy that managed to massage them to fit in the stock 15" Camaro wheel. Most everyone else upgraded to the 16"+ IROC wheels and solved the issues.

Re: you want to change your 5X5 bolt pattern on 73-87 disc to 5X4.75
Gringoloco-
My backspacing on my 15" Centerlines is 1.5 inches at best. They are the 15x3 Convo Pros. So I shouldn't have any issues with the 91LE rotor and those drop spindles I linked right? Thanks again. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: you want to change your 5X5 bolt pattern on 73-87 disc to 5X4.75
I wouldn't think so, but convos are drag wheels which aren't generally known for having great brake clearance. Maybe check around the F-body forums to see if anyone is running that combo...

Re: you want to change your 5X5 bolt pattern on 73-87 disc to 5X4.75
Gents,
Instead of ordering drop spindles could I just replace the front springs instead or cut the ones I have now to lower it a couple of inches? I know it will probably change the geometry a little bit and make the ride a little different but I have seen front spring lowering kits and just wanted to get your opinions. Thanks.
