Re: 1950 gmc build

Front is even with the steering box, I don't remember cutting anything off the rear. I used an X cab frame to start with, don't know if that makes a difference.

Re: 1950 gmc build

Alright guys the time has come to sell my project. The pull of the dirt track was just to much resist any longer. So I need to sell my truck so I can make some elbow room for my modified. I need your guyses help in figuring out a price to sell it. So what I have is a pink slip in hand 1950 gmc, the frame is a 1983 S-15 reg cab long bed frame with brand new 3" lowering leafs in the back and belltech shocks, new leaf spring bushings, up front everything is new also new moog springs and bushings, new a arm bushings, new upper and lower ball joints, new 2" lowering spindles, all new tie rods center link idler arm. The entire frame has been wire wheeled the a arms have been painted, and all the original body mounts have been cut off and grinder smooth. The cab is in great shape the only problem area is the corners, doors are great also no rust or dents, have both front fenders, hood, grille, plus the bed. I know I have more if I was able to go through the garage I have all the metal to copy jeffs51 body mounts. So what do you guys think I could get for it? No motor or tranny. Let me know.

Re: 1950 gmc build

Aww man, that sucks. I'm not much help as far as price goes. However, I was talking to my neighbor the other day. He mentioned he'd like to start a project with his son. If you can get a price, I'll ask him what he thinks. It would be really cool to have a 50's GMC project going next door.
