Re: Help!! Need advice.
Many hands can make quick work of getting this thing rolling again, tap into some of those buddies of yours, even if they arent mechanical they can sand and turn a wrench at your direction.
Brews are cheap, Memories are priceless, good buds will jump at the chance to achieve both. Get a plan together, make a scrap book if need be on each thing you want done, then stick to the plan. Paint is easy, its the body work that makes a paint job, take your time more hammering, less bondo, always go back to metal and etch prime, it will save you many headaches later. You can use chemical strippers, they are easy, and these trucks have lots of metal so grind away. You will get there, I learned all I know by doing, failing, fixing, and doing again. Its what will make you love your truck even more. Just my 2-cents. |

Re: Help!! Need advice.
Man, I'm glad you got your truck back...
Now, you need to hook those tie-rods back up...sick of looking at the poor front wheels like that !! That angle piece needs to go.....I would reinforce it with some flat stock, then triangle it all in, and smooth it out. BTW, we are all here to help...Let me know if you have any susp. questions...
