Where I'm from you can tell the single farmers or the ones with busy wives by whether or not their truck/ATV has a tow bar. Most seem to have at least one vehicle for those lonely days.

They are really handy for moving to the field. For example when seeding you usually need your seeder + a truck with seed to refill then a ride back home at the end of the day(or to the local CO OP for parts).

I actually pulled my 67 home with its tow bar when I picked it up from the PO. I took it off when I rebuilt the engine but it will be going back on in the spring.

Edit: Would love to see more pics of it. Old work trucks are great. Your father in law has good taste in tractors also I see

thats funny about the single farmer... i think the stepmonster is a better farm wife..lol none of the trucks we use now have tow bars. and yes we only drive red tractors

I was just thinking about the tractors so i had to go back and look.... The ford is in the picture. So let me reword this. "We don't alow green tractors on our farm." LOL
