Indy Bowtie - this gets my vote as the coolest setup. With ALL the others an extremely close second. They are all very cool. I am also particularly psyched about Corts NEW combo with the burb - that is really really cool.

I think the "trailer craze" is quite popular because it puts some teeth into what we all REALLY want to do with our trucks - travel the country and chill out (in a cool rig and with a real, well kinda real anyway, mattres).

What a great ide and a great thread.

Re: Anyone pull a vintage camper with their truck?

very cool - I've seen those things popping up occasionally. I'd love to see an inside pic, gotta be small, but it DOES have a door, so I'm guessing a queen size bed, full kitchen, desk, movie room.... That's gonna be a fun trip, enjoy!!

Jocko, following link has interior pictures, mine is the same except for the upholstery. Table folds down, to a Queen size bed. Has A/C and Heat, A/C is super powerful (small space to cool). The fridge is more of a powered (110V/12V/LP) cooler than a fridge, currently not working on 110V, must be a fuse or something. Might just bring my garage/bar fridge!

I want to say they do, I know they at least have done orange in the past. Click on the link in the post above , one or two pictures of orange there. I am thinking of going black with tan where the white is on my truck, and might want to repaint this trailer to match! These are expensive little units, new ones sell between 12k and 16k (CDN) depending on trim level.

I found their website. Yes they have an orange one! I hate to spend more for one of those than I did my truck though!

I think I'd have to get me a new tranny with overdrive before I would do some long hauls with a trailer. Gas prices are not coming down!

I actually inherited it, my Dad passed last December. It is 04/05 model which he bought somewhere around 2007. So no doubt a discount from the 12k they are worth new, but short answer is "I dunno"

Sorry to hear that crgrs.

thanks for the link, those little things have much more in them than I expected, and I also really like the fold out tent stuff that makes almost another "room".

Re: Anyone pull a vintage camper with their truck?

Airsteam project not finished. I put in a rear door 44" wide to bring in the larger stuff and another side door opposed to the other. Same wheels and hubcaps as the 63. Hope to one day bring it to shows with a projector to show my original Chevrolet slideshows. It will have a roof top deck as well, why, because I thought it would be neat.

Cut shorter from the original 27ft single axle. Just saved the good parts frame was rotten.

A very kind member Photoshopped a version and added the side moldings. Have to put those on to match the truck.
