Re: My 64 build

Thanks PRO. I used an old style 1/4" with a 9/16" radius metal bender. My dad had it so there is not telling how old it is. I was very pleased with the results mainly because i don't know anything about fitting tubing and all that goes with it. Secondly, I was real surprised my temper didn't blow before it was all done, LOL. Those BFG's have been my favorite style of white letter tires for many years. I knew when i started this build that i just HAD TO HAVE a set.

Re: My 64 build

I thought I had subscribed to this one back when you started it but apparently I didn't, oh well it looks great though! I wish I would have known about that guy that sandblasted everything for you back when I started but that would have been a long drive to haul a bunch of parts to.

Re: My 64 build

Thanks man. Yes, he did all my parts and they look perfect. I am real impressed with his knowledge of blasting and him knowing the do's and don't's. Plus, i just cannot beat the price anywhere, LOL. I am currently about to start on my engine so hopefully i will have some more progress pics up in the near future.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Nice! But I don't think that's going to fit under the hood.

OK guys. I finally have my S10 rear end in place. I still have to modify some brackets and such but it appears so far that everything is working out better than i expected.

Re: My 64 build

Just read your whole post, I think that I will have to call your guy that did the blasting, that was an awsome price.

The build looks like it is going good!

Re: My 64 build

Received it. Thanks Karl, give me a shout anytime. I get home usually by 4:30.

For all those who are confused about my username. I somehow managed to screw up and log in with my old name, "Zack Methvin". I am CVA59 and Zack Methvin, LMAO. Sometimes my brain just decides to shutdown on me without any advanced notice. I will do my best in the future to stay with my correct username.
