Wow, that is one sharp looking truck when you get it out in the daylight. It's time to put some miles on it and get it dialed in perfect before the wedding. I do like that shade of red.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Putting my 57' back together in the rainy PNW!!!

i love your truck, and yes the trade off rain VS heat, vs heat and tornados, living in Phx we have the heat but i miss the PNW and yes if it's raining you can work in your garage, try that in phx when it's a 118 and a 130 in the garage. anyway keep at it and you will be driving it soon.

I agree, next time I open my websters dictionary to the word "cool", I expect to see a picture of your truck there.

Exclamation Wedding Time!!!!!

Alright everybody.............wish me good luck. Tomorrow (Wednesday), I will be driving my 57' approximately 80 miles north to reach the wedding venue. I must also commute across a ferry to make it there along the route. Crossing my fingers that nothing mechanical wants to put a stop to my recent road-worthy pickup. I plan to leave tomorrow evening and beat all the "daytime" traffic. I just got an alignment done today on the pickup. She's all ready to go and just waiting for her co-staring role in the wedding. Heck, even our cake person constructed a 57' Chevy pickup edible model for the groomsmen to eat!!!! I'll snap some photos to share on here once I get back.

80 miles is a good haul. Good luck with your journey as well as the wedding. I hope all goes off without a single glitch

I live in Stanwood, let me know if anything goes wrong. Hopefully the trip goes smooth, but I'm available if you need a hand!

80 miles on the road + a ferry boat ride almost sounds like Whidbey Island via Port Townsend.

Thank you for the "stand-by help" offer. I successfully made the trip last night in the 57'. Truck ran good at highway speed. Lots of lookers while waiting in the ferry lines. Saturday is the big day.

Good to hear! Our wedding was 2 weekends ago, turns out it takes about 9 days for the ring to stop feeling like a loose band aide! Lol
