Re: Cherubs Burban Project
Where did you get the rear bag set-up? Is it a ridetech AOL kit?

Re: Cherubs Burban Project
Did I right that you did not notch the frame? I picked up a 78 and I was noticing tonight as I unloaded it off the trailer that if I put the axle on top of the leafs there would be almost no clearance to the frame???

oke, thanks, but what I wanted to know, is if he did the A/C lines himself? isnt only possible by special tools because of the refrigerant?

Re: Cherubs Burban Project
Cherub,
What did you do for the fan set-up now that the WP is rotating in reverse? I started thinking about it today & assume a mech fan from a serp set-up is req'd (which I mat/may-not still have from my swap parts). Still waiting on my brackets. They should arrive tomorrow according to tracking....

Re: Cherubs Burban Project
Man that's a sweet burb!
That's exactly the way I want to put one together, and I agree that that the only change needed from what you've done already is swap out the mirrors. I think the wheel size is dead on man. Posted via Mobile Device

no updates as of yet it needs the exhaust ran and it will be drivable again. I stalled out on working on it and been putting money into house projects.

Re: Cherubs Burban Project
Do you have any detailed pictures of the passenger side rear AOL mount? I am in the middle of installing my ridetech AOL kit on my flipped rear suburban and cannot quite figure it out. I am having clearance issues with the upper bag mount/axle/shock. I see the pictures of the drivers side on yours in this thread and they helped a ton. Any help is greatly appriciated.

I was thinking about grinding a little on the lower bag mount to get it the clear the shock, it's good to confirm that that's what you did too. She's just a little tight on the pass. side

Re: Cherubs Burban Project
came out pretty good for my first one. I used this video when finding out the process for "headliner Repair". Took me 3 cans of high heat headliner adhesive and 5 yards of foam backed headliner material. All in all about 100 bucks in materials. Eventually when time and money permit ill take the moldings down and hit them with some interior trim paint
