Re: My "New" 1991 2500 Burb

The inner pads are for newer trucks rear spring bump stops they shouldn't need to be removed or at least i didn't have to remove them and as far as the lug nuts i wouldn't say they're 'special' lug nuts since they are just newer truck lug nuts but some people find it a problem and i might eventually change them

Re: My "New" 1991 2500 Burb

Thanks! So.....for those of you that have done this before.....let me see if I have this straight.....
1. single u joint at each end of my drive line..so more than ...7-10 degrees of angle?
2. pinion angle parallel to output shaft of t case or slight nose up?
3. Do any tack welding of new perches with vehicle weight on the springs and axle
4. frame of vehicle at 0 degrees while doing all of this
5. going to tack weld...then remove and take to buddy's house who is a professional welder to burn in the new perches and gussets.

Missing anything????? Thanks in advance....Patch!
