very nice job. Boby, can you post another view from your door, maybe a little farther? i didn't get where exactly you installed it on the door. is it right under the door panel? thanks.

I think he installed it on the inside of the outside door skin as well as the back side of the door panel.

He explained (or someone explained above) how he got it inside the door and in place but damned if thats a job I'd want to tackle! Maybe my hands and arms are just too big but thats cramped, tight little space.

I suppose if it's really cold in your garage it might be better to heat it. Beyond that it's very pliable at room temps. They do supply a small roller to get it laid better in tight spots....

just a thought,,,,,, To ensure water from inside the cab couldn't get into the seams, I'd bet that metal tape they use to seal duct work connections would work. It's a foil product, or maybe that would just be overkill.. whatever, the stuff looks great.. I wonder if it's availa ble in Canada?

I thought I saw somewhere that you were supposed to head it up while installing. Maybe that was FatMat. I've looked at a LOT of these sound deadeners this last week.

You are supposed to heat it up while you roll it out...but I found that not necessary unless the temp was below 60 degress or so. I only used a har dryer a few times when it was cooler out...but the rest of the time it was warm enough and it stuck just fine with rolling only.

Loweredd,as stated,your supposed to heat it up and roll it in place with the 1" wooden roller they supply.If it's 95 outside it's prob. not ness. to heat it up.

Nima,I covered the inside of the outer door skin and the inside of the door panel.
here's a bettter pic.
I hadn't rolled it smooth in the pic.That's why it looks a little bunched up.I had just slid it in the door.

This pic shows it now rolled onto the inside of the outer door skin.It's not that smooth as there was some factory undercoating still on the inside door skin.

No,it won't take the heat.At least not the stuff I used.
I believe the site has a product designed for underhood use.
