Re: Local NJ trucks
Yeah I have been looking nationwide. Found a few nice ones too, but can't actually buy one just yet since I'm unemployed at the moment.

Re: Local NJ trucks
Somewhere central would probably get the most attendance.

How about at the Englishtown Swap Meet?
Hey, South Jersey guys, anyone know of a media blasting shop in Burlington/Camden/Mercer counties? My internet searches are all turning up stuff in Pennsy. Time to get started on the 50. |

Welcome! I'm in Rockaway by the mall but both of my Suburbans are stored elsewhere.

Hey Guys!
I'm in Sussex County...work in Bloomingdale. It would be cool to get together this Summer some time! Here's my '72...it's getting a new crate engine, as soon as it warms up a little! |

Re: Local NJ trucks
I appreciate the referral Flthead but Brick is a bit far from me. The firms I found in PA are actually closer to me.
Anyone know of any media blasters between say Florence and Glassboro along the 295 corridor? |

Re: Local NJ trucks
I am in new milford by Hackensack. not west milford as everyone mistakes it with. I have a 71 c20 my girl has a 71 k20. and i own that cheap 71 longhorn you posted the craigslist ad for. going to be tearing into it soon. I wanted it to go to someone who would restore it but it needed a bed so I found a bed for it and now am going to get it on the road. I promised the old man I got it from I would find it a proper home if I didn't keep it. I cant wait to drive it to his house when I get it done in the next few months I think he may cry. it sat in his driveway for 10 years before I got it and to see it at least running and driving will make his day.

Re: Local NJ trucks
bigrigpardo, I'm glad you are going to fix up that longhorn. It has tons of potential.

Re: Local NJ trucks
I just like the fact that its a true one ton and not just another 3/4ton. if someone had said they would restore it I would have let it go but everyones first words from the ad were I need a cheap parts truck and this was too odd and cool to cut up for someones plan jane c10 project. if you guys set up a meet me and my girl would be there with our trucks. may even get my friend to come with his long step

Re: Local NJ trucks
Boyz - (and any gurlz too) - Englishtown swap meet is 4/11-13. I plan to be there on Sat 4/12. Should we set a meetup for the NJ board members?
Bigrig Pardo I'm still planning on my trip to Demarest. Maybe this Sat. Or I may go down to the Salem Swap Meet - anyone going there? |
