Re: Truck names

My Dad gave me the nickname "Murphy" as a kid since I used to get into trouble (the old Murphy's Law thing) and Dennis the Menace was already taken Since my '62 is 3 years older than I am we call him OLDMURPH.

Re: Truck names

My '60 is Babe, because she is big, blue, and (if running) would pull like an ox! LOL

Still haven't settled on a for sure name for my sons '65. He started calling her Sleeping Beauty because he wants to eventually build a sleeper out of it, but has been referring to her lately as Diablo Blanco (White Devil), because she has been a mean little thing... she bites... LOL

Also she ended up having license plates that end in 665. Almost a bad sign, since the White Devil started before we got the plates...

Re: Truck names

My best friends old girlfriend called my '65 (20 years ago) "Lurch" (may have had something to do with the granny 4 speed). Think I'll keep the name for my new one....
