I don't mind at all guys. That is why I posted them so others could achieve this mod. Besides like they say imitation is the biggest form of flattery.
I have'nt made much progress we are in the process of building a new house with a 3 1/2 car garage , and the holidays and what not. On the latching, these trucks have a pretty secure latching system. I will use the drivers on passenger, and passenger on driver. Make sense? Then I will use a suicide safty latch of some sort.

Holy S#!t!! That is a freakin cool mod. I wish I had the balls to attempt that one. I'm afraid that I would screw it up so badly that I would have to ditch the cab and look for a new one.
Awesome, thats all I can say. |

Key chain remote activates solonoids. It's been that way for 5 yrs and 2 trucks now. I will use the same solonoids just have to move them around a little.
Thanks for the complimants makes the mod all worth while when you get a good reaction out of people.

Sweet! I’ve known several people that had suicide doors on older cars, No Cal lowrider scene, with several different set-ups as far as electronics, solenoids and back-up buttons. I even had a comparable set-up in a Samurai -- what? it was the 80’s :p
