We've been running a reconditioned one for over a year now with no problems. I just looked the reconditioned ones are $189.99 on Rock Auto.

My bumper is holding up just fine. But my truck is garaged when it's not driven. It was purchased from Wes at Classic Heartbeat.

I have heard good reviews on the AMD bumpers also.

I'm pulling the trigger on a Rock Auto "refurbished" front bumper tonight unless someone here knows any reason to not do that?

I spoke with a guy at Keystone today. He says $399 to rechrome my current bumper. I would have to ship it to him myself ($50-$60) and he will ship it back to me for free. Not a horrible deal, but much cheaper through rock auto if it's the same part. (I asked him, and he couldn't confirm)

I'll update this post once the bumper shows up...

Yeah, you couldn't pay me to put LMC parts on my truck. Way too many "WTF are they thinking, this isn't even close" experiences, and I'm pretty new at these trucks!

Bumper showed up today. Big box!

Lots of bubble wrap!

Under the bubble wrap, it was wrapped with a plastic coated paper that was lined with a cloth like material to keep the chrome from getting scratched.

The backside is even very shiny!

This thing is beautiful! Recommend to anyone looking for a front bumper. (This is the RockAuto bumper previously referenced in this post)

One of the reconditioned bumpers I got from Rock Auto (LKQ/Keystone) actually had hammer marks on the back where it had been straightened.
