Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
It looks like you could have occasional tire rub with as little as 2" lowering without clearancing the bed's edge. Not a big deal though. Lower profile tires maybe?

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
Eric, have you considered just leveling it? i.e. by installing a D60 4x4 front axle perhaps?

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
If anything
I want the back end down Not the front end up The rear tires are inboard of the bed So there isnt a clearance issue |

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
Stance looks perfect as is imo. Needs different mirrors. West Coast Sr or Camper mirrors (painted).

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
How about longer rear shackles and a shim for the axle to keep the pinion correct?
Looking good, Btw.

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
J P Williams Motor Company. A used car lot, still in business. They are a trailer dealer now. We just bought a trailer from them. I walk over there from our shop on occasion. J P is long gone, but his son, John Ronald owns the place now. I have coffee with him on a regular basis. John Ronald had this truck 32 years. He sold It last year.

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
The mirrors are definitely a conundrum
15 holes on the passenger side already The driver side has 16 I contemplated putting these on The patina is perfect I can use 1 of the existing holes And It is a small flatbed 7x8 So They are wide enough |

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
I think I would change the steering wheel to a correct 69-72 wheel. Otherwise I think that’s a great truck as is.

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
Those are correct mirrors. Big mirrors for a one ton - I say bring it on. Tyler is spot on too. Oem wheel w a vinyl isotoner cover on it. The brush guard plus the camping mirrors would really change it up. Business stencil on the door too

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
Address that radio antenna please.
I like what's happening with it so far. It needs those big mirrors.

Re: 72 - C30 - clean slate
Hey.... I had one of those Saddle Blanket seat covers that I put in my brand new 1975 Chevy SWB 4x4, I sold it 10 years later and the bench seat still looked brand spank'n new.

Well if you don't put air on it at least put a heater core in it before winter.
