Plus, swapping VIN's is sketchy at best or outright illegal at worse.
Your truck cab is 'medium rough' but certainly fixable with either a lot of work and learning or some serious cost for a pro repair. Either way, it's definitely a good long term investment. My only caution to a full "cab restoration" would be if you plan on using the truck as a rough-n-ready outdoor only work truck. If that's the plan then maybe waiting on a cab restoration might make sense. ???
