Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
I've seen this truck numerous times parked in generally the same spot in the grocery store parking lot. But there isn't anyone ever in it. As you can see from the pics I got up close enough to check on our possibly homeless chevy buddy. There is a twin size matress in the bed of the truck with pillows and blankets. So we can only assume that as the old country song goes he lost his job and his wife kicked him out of the house and kept the dog. But he's got his old Chevy pickup...
Hopefully I will actually talk to him sometime, see if I can lend a hand or a hot plate. If you've never been in that bad of a situation that your chevy truck was your best friend and a warm place to keep you out of elements, then please consider yourself truely blessed that you are able to read about this poor old chevy guy on a forum from your cozy office chair or recliner. Stop to think that sometimes we take our slammed chevys with 20inch rims and powerful engines for granted.... |

Yeah that dude defiantly has it rough, I've been in a similar situation I used to work in commission based sales and started out great, but then I started partying too much and selling nothing. So I had to live in my Nissan Maxima for about a week & a half until I found an hourly paying job with a manager & supervisors that didn't ask everyone to go out drinking with them 4-5 times a week. I wish I had a truck then or a van. |
