Hey Zach, I was parked right behind you guys at the All Truck Nationals a couple weekends ago in pigeon forge. Your truck looks awesome, it was one of my favorites there

Yes my truck has a small notch in the rear. Bed floor and all is original though.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

I started doing a notch on my truck and wanted to make it easier so i took the bed off. One thing led to another and now im like 1500$ into a coil over 4 link with watts link all inboard the frame.

66clow I know we talked before but 5 inch springs and 2 inch blocks in the rear with 3 inch springs in the front. No C notch and no problems.

First pict just with 5inch springs 2nd after adding 2 inch clocks.

Maybe its the angle of the photo but for some reason the truck pictured doesn't look low enough to have a 5/7 drop? Doesn't a 5/7 drop typically tuck the top of a 27-28 inch tall tire into the fender? What size tires are you running? Total diameter.

I thought it would have been lower too, only 3-7 drop. The 20's seem to keep it up more than I anticipated. Rocket Racing Booster 6 20x9 +0 wheels Toyo Proxes S/T 275/45 tires with Autospring Lowered 3F / 7R

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

The reason i say this is because i just did a 5 inch drop on the rear of a truck yesterday evening and it was tucking the top of a 30" tire, so my tire is probably taller but i also only did a 5 inch drop not a 7. Im probably tucking 2-3 inches of tire so a 7" drop would easily tuck a 27-28" tire.

Your truck look killer though. Love it. That color is awesome.

Thanks, I would like it lower but I am about maxed out on funds. Still thinking of drop spindles after I get new mid length headers. I am afraid my long tube will hit if not careful.

I was wondering too since I'm at 5 in the rear and it is sitting pretty low with springs. Not sure if there is a difference due to the bed. Haven't looked lately at the axle spacing underneath.

I hear you. I finally got my truck to the height i wanted to keep it at just to find out exactly what you said. My long tubes are dragging on everything. Im having to use 2x4 to get in and out of my drive way. Sheared 4/6 collector bolts pulling out of a gas station. My next step for my blue/silver truck is mid length headers and exhaust that is closely tucked to the body,, im hopefully going to run the exhaust through the frame as close to the front of the truck as possible then run it outside the frame and dump it down at an angle towards the outside. Just ideas right now.

Now you guys have me second guessing myself. I ordered new springs when I did this but never checked the measurement.

Lol, you have any photos from underneath of how much room you have above the axle? I'm going to check mine this evening.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Just for comparison, my rear tires are 27" tall as they sit on the truck (actual measurement), my rear fender lip is 27.75" from the pavement. I'm running a 6" Hotchkis drop spring and an 1.5" block in the pic here.

Awesome before after photos. Looks like I have about 4 inches between the axle and frame with 5 inch springs only. So not sure if that is enough clearance with 2 inch blocks or not. Also I have 20's with 40 series tires. Your fender gap looks about the same. You might not have 5 in springs.
