That Yota still looks the same as the day he got it. He has a super charger for it and plans to redo the whole thing soon.

Yep that is them, we suicided the rear doors on it too.

Another buddy of mine had just picked up this Envoy and he let me borrow it to pull the Why-Wear? trailer. It lays frame on 24's

No, hard to get free time these days.

Sold the Intro's but that is all that has changed. Plan to replace them with a 22/24 combo some time in the future.

Re: Project '86

I used a grinder with a flap wheel. Its like a grinding wheel but its a bunch of pieces of sand paper layered on top of each other. just take your time and dont be too aggressive.

Re: Project '86

Finally got some work done!

Made my motor mounts and got the motor in. Got one mount 90% welded on and ran out of wire so I set the other one in place with the motor in to make sure my alignment was right. I will need to rework my tranny crossmember a bit but that was expected.

Once I get it all lined out the motor will come back out to one day get all cleaned up and painted.

Excellent job on the mounts, it looked like it was going to hit when you mocked up your stearing. You did an excellent job of avoiding that problem.
