how did you get hooked?

i was orig looking for a 67 nova or chevy II
i wanted a vehicle as old as i was
you know , the whole nostalgia thing
but even in crap shape they were way to much $
ive always owned trucks since i started driving
and i looked into 67 trucks
just by luck
i bought a 67 small window long step on ebay for 450.00 in indianapolis
then i couldnt believe my luck i bouht a 67 small window lwb fleet from nj for 51.00 on ebay
so i got 2 trucks for 501.00
the fifty dollar truck drives and shifts great
so thats the one i painted to be my daily driver while i spend 5 years restoring the long step
i may even put the step box on this frame to keep me busy
i cant wait to finish both
and im really looking for a swb step in a small window with spare mount
thats my ideal truck
but ill enjoy what i have in the mean time
