Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
Hey Longhorn Man...
If you stop by and visit with WES...he owes me a hot dog from his gathering of about two years ago. Why don't you pick it up for me.

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
I'll have to fly outta here on saturday morning.
As far as the actual drive, point a to point b with no stops is only 32 or so Hrs... so it isn't far fetched at all. |

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
Every time I think I overpaid for my burb I end up realizing that it has everything I could have wanted, I didn't have to look for months/years to find it, and the guy met me half way to deliver it!
When I realize what kind of emotion it evokes and the enthusiasm of others for these autos I'm stoked! Stoked for you, too, Longhorn Man!

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
Holy Crapola.........is the infamous LONGHORN MAN coming to Seattle??? I guess I should visit the parts board more often! I think a Longhorn arrival committee and caravan out to Monroe would be appropriate. I smell a big party and barbeque!!!!!!!!

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
Hey Andy, if you take the route Jeffspower mapped out...you would be within 40 miles of me in Wisconsin...could help out with rescue/repair/tools if needed, I'll keep watch for your route and date thread when you get it finalized. Good luck on the trip and congrats on the Burb!! P.S. wish I had the time, i would pay my own way and go with for company/help/co-pilot or whatever. Fellow Dew drinker, Gord

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
Everyone along the route should make sure they are on the contact list just in case Andy does need help somewhere. The more on the list makes it easier to find someone if help is needed. Sounds like fun Andy. If I wasn't working I'd go with ya.

Re: Anyone looking for a burb project?
LOL...The problem with it being a sticky is I'm pretty sure alot of people never look at em. I never do. The only reason I saw this one is because I had a little bit of involvement in the deal.
There is a lot of stuff I miss on the board because I usually just hit the bigger areas. I just noticed we have a recipe section...Who knew? |
