I have always liked Sport Truck magazine,... but you guys taking the time to post up on this forum sealed the deal for me.
You're now my favorite truck magazine! Keep the updates coming.

Re: road trip with a carbureted LS1..pics
For now, we are just straightening out the body as best we can in the short time we have at Kustomwerx and we'll be sealing it in blue epoxy primer. eventually, the truck will look similiar to the Penske Camaro.

Re: road trip with a carbureted LS1..pics
we are gonna need it. the hood has yet to arrive. we are about to prime the bed and later today we'll prime the cab. the plan is to spray the blue tomorrow, which will be fine as long as the hood arrives undamaged. so far, every body panel we've ordered has come in dented. we've done more bodywork on the aftermarket panels that we have the truck itself. lol

so far i've wimped out on powdercoating them yellow. i think once the graphics are on the truck i'll feel better about running yellow wheels.

Re: road trip with a carbureted LS1..pics
You could always do a translucent yellow tinted clear over the aluminum wheels to tone down the brightness a little and leave the wheel lip polished. Just a modern twist to the classic Penske Trans Am race car look.
