Re: Hi
well finally a decent update....monday night i had a buddy come over and he got my starter wiring all figured out and got the truck running....truck is really loud and i have no idea how fast it'll go...took it for a little spin yesterday with the box just sitting there...truck is a lot of fun....gotta bolt the box down now, and get front inner fenders, grille, hood, and dash in....roll pan, back fenders, and cab corners are going to wait a little bit...gotta cruise around in the truck a bit first...got a little workshop now in the end of our barn....enough space for 2 vehicles but i just have the truck and all my parts and tools there right now...pretty handy

Re: Hi
hey i got another big list for LMC, this time with all new weatherstripping, single back window, new windshield, some dash stuff, new carpet, heat and sound insulation, lower door carpet, kick panel carpet, dash cover, interior door panels, window handles, armrests, door pockets, billet grille, 2" cowl hood, Chevrolet tailgate, and im thinking about new metal door skins even...other stuff i need for my 86 is rims and tires, new shocks, possibly some rearend parts, im thinking 3" Magnaflow exhaust maybe with electric cutouts and 4" diameter/18" long slashed chrome tips for each side...that should finish the truck up nice, and then its on to primer and paint, and i might shave the door handles....any ideas?

Re: Hi
The hose that is missing is an A/C line that runs to the compressor.

Re: Hi
i see i have 2 more things to add to my list- 2 new fuel tanks, since the left one keeps emptying itself out in the shop, and the right one hit a rock with a previous owner and dented it up real bad so it won't hold as much as it should...thinking about an upgraded edelbrock fuel pump too, just dont know how much fuel the engines going to need, and if the stock pump is capable of keeping up

Re: Hi
that last picture there is of a nascar car in canadian tire, but minus engine, etc... liked the 2 ignition boxes and the nos bottle....right now i have to pick out rims and tires for the truck, and suggestions would be good. i heard that 18x10's with 305/45 rubber and 18x8's with 275/50 rubber might look good, with about 3"-4" of backspacing on both? i have no real idea what would look good, so help would be great.

Re: Hi
LMC list is almost done, it has door weatherstripping, special oil drain valve, heat and sound insulation, and new black carpet, battery tray, new armrests, chrome tranny and engine dipsticks, fuel filter, led interior light, maybe a 1'' deeper tranny oil pan if that helps, and theres a few other parts i got to think about.

Re: Hi
the inner fenders were 80 bucks each from LMC, and i had them shipped with a bunch of other stuff, but for a pair of them including shipping you shouldnt be over 300, probably around 270 -280..hope that helps...and truck is in getting wiring checked starting this monday morning...might be out by end of week

Re: Hi
truck still isn't out of mechanic shop yet, waiting on spark plug wire looms..wiring problem for gauges and ignition was that a main power pin on the column ignition plug in was bent and not connecting power to all gauges and to the ignition..truck should run good now...other stuff- the rents got a 2002 yukon with a 5.3 ls..should be fun
