Re: Time to count GMCs
I've got two! A 64 I am building, and a 62 I bought for parts. Couldn't bring myself to ruin it for parts, so I'm going to put the few fixes it needs into making it a driver (no prom queen, but who needs pretty...)! 4 headlights (and the badass GMC grille) RULE!!!

Re: Time to count GMCs
The seats are third row 1999 Montana Van seats. I made a frame for them that mounts them up like a single bench and bolts to the original holes in the floor. The color I think is Daytona Yellow from a 1969 Camaro. The original color was Harvest Yellow which is a bit lighter than that.

Resurecting this thread. I was thinking about starting a thread like this, when I found this one.

I love that chrome front end. I see you have a V for Vernski hood ornament, is that new?

Re: Time to count GMCs
Hi Vernski, life is pretty good on this end. Looking forward to Goodguys in August. One of our sons I haven’t seen in eight years is coming up on vacation with his family. He’s never been to a car show before so it should be fun.
I’ll have the trim done in plenty of time to have it installed before the show, but I think I’m going to wait until after just in case anything goes wrong with the installation. I can see it’s a Packard ornament now that I know what it is. I’ve always liked the mid 50’s Nash ornaments too. They are similar but don’t have wings.

Re: Time to count GMCs
Vernski,
The front end with the chrome is something I want to do BAD>>>>>>, but I'll stick with the painted package for at least 1-2 yrs. an then consider rechrome.
