For the record, I had lots more fun with it when it was rusty!
Could you tell me the lift and tires you were running with your 16.5x9.75 rims in the first pic?

Looks pretty typical for an Ontario vehicle. Thanks to the salt and brine they now use

Re: rustiest trucks

my 84 had holes in the inners but they where still there. we had holes covered with plywood in the bed floor. the toe part of the floor pan had rusted away from the cab about a inch and the rockers where in heaven i think. idk how the cab didnt fall off. it did on my dads 72 ford they wired it back on.

Re: rustiest trucks

Pretty much anywhere there wasn't caked on grease was rust. Spent days decreasing and pressure washing the truck when I first got it and it's still not all gone.

Don't mind the mismatched rims. That problem has been taken care of.

Re: rustiest trucks

does flash rust count? i started stripping my 84 down to bare metal back in oct but then had to start driving it daily after my 19yr old daughter and her bf moved down from MI without a car so i had to surrender my daily for a bit. The rust has been accelerated due to the fact that we have had alot more snow than usual already. im hopin i can get back to work on it soon but it has been way too cold to be out in the garage for hours. the entire truck is covered in at least 5 layers of paint/primer and 2 layers of body filler that was/is hiding dozens of dents, rust holes, and poorly finished welds. even tho every panel needs replaced or messaged, ill be honest, most of the pics on this thread my truck look not so bad after all.
