Re: Brothers Truck Show

We went to a swap meet and bought a seat out of a early truck because it had the same shape but was too wide and didn't have the right legs or arm rest.. but was able to shorten it and build the right legs to mount it and fab up some arm rest..

Re: Brothers Truck Show

Wayne-
I noticed that you mentioned a pinstriper party in So Cal. That wouldn't happen to be Phil Whetstone's party would it? We got invited, but due to other commitments, I won't be there. His parties are great, and they are LOADED with some of the most talented guys on the planet. His last "Brush Off" party was awesome. The custom painted panels that got raffled off were incredible.

Maybe someday our paths will cross, so be prepared to answer a lot of questions over a few beers. Love those build shots!!

Wayne-

You have been sand bagging..This is the first time that I have seen most of these pics. Very cool. I did have success in the garage this weekend getting the gaps right on the drivers side front fender. I also got the front bumper mounted. I will shoot you some pics.

Nope, no chance of that. I've got my hands full with the two projects I have now. Right now, it's 90% on the '64 and 10% on the '55. I really want to get the '64 back on the road because instead of it being a pampered show queen, it'll get used as a truck. I need a truck bad. A few years ago, in a moment of stupidity, I sold my super-reliable '76 Bonanza to a friend who needed a vehicle, who in turn, let his kid drive it, who promptly totalled it. It was a 2 owner truck that was super solid. Right now, I'm borrowing trucks from friends, and I hate to borrow anything.

Re: Brothers Truck Show

Does anyone have any more pictures of this truck from the show? I want to get a better look from different angles of the rear so I cab better see the roll pan and the install that they used. It was located near the portapoties and the telephone pole small fence.
