Re: 73-74 show off
1974 GMC that I built for my brother's Implement dealership in 1986. Basically started with a frame with axles and built off of that.
Truck has an 86 cab, 83 front clip, Western plow , four cylinder air compressor on the engine with four air tanks mounted underneath the truck. 355 and th400 with a 205 transfer case, she has done her duty through the years. Always parked inside when not in use but she was handled rough because of so many different people driver her through the years. NowI have the truck and am outfitting it for my lawn cutting/ plowing side jobs. In 1990 she even had the misfortune to roll over on the drivers side, took it like a trouper. Re: 73-74 show off
Here's my 74! Picked it up for $800. It has a 350 from a nova, and runs well. The PO put van wheels on, and I can't wait to replace them. I found some GMC hubcaps and put them on for now.

Re: 73-74 show off
Found one on craigslist not to long after this thread. Cool thing was the guy had a bowtie cut out of gold brushed aluminum that he mounted on the grill instead of the faded till piece. Can't wait to see it installed once the front clip goes on.
