Re: Porterbuilt bolt-in IFS subframe for 55-59
The Porterbuilt site doesn't list any details for this 55-59 set up, anyone know the hub to hub track width?

Re: Porterbuilt bolt-in IFS subframe for 55-59
And me! I'd love to have a bolt in. I'm confident in welding one in, but more concerned about making sure everything is square and it drive correct.

Re: Porterbuilt bolt-in IFS subframe for 55-59
I'm sure Nate and Del want mind me posting these "Classified/Spy shots"!!
Disclaimer: these are actually for a early Ford UniBody, but Nate says the 55-59 Chevy version is very similar!

Re: Porterbuilt bolt-in IFS subframe for 55-59
Looks like this setup is away high quality but also only for super, uber, ultra low ride height..is that right?
Any chance there will be a more conservative version? I want my truck lower but I do NOT want air ride and I don't want to enter driveways diagonally, and all that bull****. Too old for that stuff now, I need a daily driver after I retire! PS: Yeah, yeah, I know..."If it's too low you're too old" ha ha. Probably true but I'm still playing with trucks so I'm not THAT old yet.

Re: Porterbuilt bolt-in IFS subframe for 55-59
I'm very interested in the rear trailing arm set up for the task force trucks.
I will be doing some in my truck in the next month or so and would love to see some parts from you guys

Re: Porterbuilt bolt-in IFS subframe for 55-59
I would really like to see a kit that would keep stock ride height, not everyone wants truck to sit on the ground.

Re: Porterbuilt bolt-in IFS subframe for 55-59
Me too. If anything, I want to lift the front of mine 1" to level it out.
I'd thought Porterbuilt said they were working on a less dropped option..?

Re: Porterbuilt bolt-in IFS subframe for 55-59
Bringing this one back to the top, cause I'm happy to say that I've received my PB Coil-over Dropmember for my 57!
Nate and Dave are two great guys that love what they do and it shows in the quality of their product and customer service! I cant wait to get everything installed under my truck and put some serious miles on it! Thanks again Nate and Dave!

Re: Porterbuilt bolt-in IFS subframe for 55-59
To the Porterbuilt guys, since this is made for a specific make and model will it be available with motor mounts already in place to bolt in a sbc or will we still have to mock?
